Good reports still coming out of Devils Lake --
""Found fish on most but all were small ended up with a total catch and release of 27 walleye, 19 White Bass and 3 NP. We kept 5 Walleye between 14 and 17 inches.
The majority of the Whites were caught on a jig and minnow.
The Walleye were caught on either bottom bouncers and spinners tipped with nightcrawler or minnow. Some were caught on jigs and minnows or jigs and Nightcrawlers. The NP’s were on both.
Sure hope the weather cools down soon. That should help bring out the hogs.
Keep cool and keep those nets wet."
Seems like the general opinion is the big ones will come with the cool weather yet making the walleyes a bit more active.
