Well its that time of year where Lake Ashtabula has become a green color do to all the algae in the water. Spinners and leeches seemed to have had the best luck catching walleyes but beware -- the bullheads are everywhere and if you just want some action -- by all means have a blast catching these good fighting although ugly fish --- not a bad option if nothing else is biting.
