Fishing has been slow around Fargo. Only one to two good size cats per day(15# ers). Use frogs or fresh Goldeye although I have had good luck with whole meduim suckers. North of the midtown dam is a good spot if you can get there first and the lions conservancy park is also decent.I said screw it and went to Drayton last weekend, between me and my buddy we caught about 15 cats all over 15 pounds and 2 over 20.
If you have never been to Drayton and want to catch big cats --- you really can't go wrong. Went last October and in about 8 hours of fishing I caught an easy 15 cats over 10lbs with a few over 15lbs myself --- plus a friend hooked one that he never turned to shore, which after catching a 12lb'er and bringing it in fairly easy really makes you wonder how big it was.
