Ordering and Shipping Information

By choosing to purchase from Dragonfly Lures, you agree that you have read the information below and agree to the terms and conditions stipulated.

Please email us (sales@dragonflylures.com) your orders. Upon receipt of your orders we will give you an approximate ship date along with a total before you purchase. We will also address any issues/questions involved with your order at that time.

Shipping Times, Costs, and Suggestions

Orders are shipping usually next day but may be 1 - 3 days depending on time placed, order load or other circumstances unforseen but most ship right away. All custom jigs may take extra time as they are all made to order but a time estimate can be given immediately. All special order items will be given an estimate and an email notification will go out when they ship. These time estimates are estimates only and are given to us by our suppliers. They are usually accurate but in the event of a back order you will be notified of the back order status and the special order item will be shipped once it comes in. Special ordered items and hooks ARE NOT subject to refund or cancellation due to the nature of the special order status.

We suggest USPS priorty mail for most orders. USPS Priority mail is an economical way to send small packages. It is the only method for delivery to PO Boxes or Apo addresses that we offer. Shipping times are usually 3 to 5 days but are not guaranteed by USPS or by Dragonfly Lures. Generally from our experience, 99% of orders arrive within 2 to 5 business days of shipment. Sometimes delivery times are affected by internal factors at USPS that we cannot control. USPS Priority mail orders include "delivery confirmation" notices and a tracking # in the cost. We use this information to determine if a package has been delivered.

If you agree to lowest cost method of shipping your package is not guarenteed by any delivery confirmation, the USPS, or Dragonfly Lures. However it is 99% effective and the lowest cost method in shipping a small order of hooks and saving 3.00 - 4.00 on shipping on a small expense item.

A small handling fee of 1.00 - 2.00 is placed on all packages to cover packaging expenses.


Refunds, Exchanges, Lost Shipments, Merchant Policies

Defective items returned to us within 14 days of delivery will be exchanged for the same item, or with a color substitution with your permission. If a replacement item is not available, you will be eligible for a refund for that particular item. Refunds will be credited to the same card with which the purchase was made. We will cover the cost of mailing out the new item via a shipping method of our choice. We cannot refund shipping and handling costs.

If you made an error while placing the order in choosing colors, sizes, and items, or have changed your mind after receiving the product and you would like to Exchange items, please contact us. We will try to accommodate you but you will be responsible for costs of shipping the items back to us and shipping a new order.

If there's an error in your order (we sent wrong item, we sent wrong color), please send the mistaken items back after contacting us and we will send out the correct items. If you want to keep the items sent in error, please let us know. We'll try to give you a discount if you'd rather keep the lures.

Lost Shipments
USPS Priority mail - if an order hasn't arrived within 14 days, please contact us. We will check the delivery confirmation status and have USPS investigate. If the delivery confirmation status shows the package as being delivered to the correct address, we cannot re-ship, refund, or replace the order. If the delivery status shows that it hasn't yet been delivered, we will send out another replacement order after another 7 day waiting period. This applies to priority mail packages or items shipped in boxes only -- we are NOT responsible for small ordered items not shipped priority mail or shipped by box, shipping may be extra to cover these costs if it is a concern otherwise we always ship as cheap as possible for the customer. Items shipped first class in an envelope (small orders of hooks) are not covered if lost in the mail unless they are shipped priority mail.

Taxes
We are based out of North Dakota. We are required to collect Sales tax of 5% for orders shipping to a North Dakota Address.

We try our best to show the true colors of our products but Monitor Resolutions and color setting play a major part in how the product colors are displayed.
